On Saturday, traffic was delayed following a motor vehicle accident in the Tucson area.
As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place on Swan Road and Sunrise Drive near Calle Del Pantera. At this time, it is unknown if anyone suffered injuries as a result of the crash. It is also unclear how many vehicles in total were involved in the accident.
Traffic was congested in the area for multiple hours as crews worked at the scene, but the roadway was back open by 3 p.m. Authorities have not provided any other details pertaining to the collision.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
