An accident involving a dirt bike rider hospitalized one person in Santa Clarita on Saturday.
At about 6:12 p.m. Saturday evening, emergency responders received news of a crash near the intersection of Fairview Drive and McBean Parkway in Valencia involving a bicyclist, according to Dispatch Supervisor Melanie Flores with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Flores said that dirt bike smashed into a pole and medics transported one person to the hospital, but the extent of rider’s injuries was unknown as of Saturday evening.
The crash is under investigation.
