The Panola County Sheriff’s Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Monday afternoon. The accident happened outside a residence on county road 337 in Panola County.
According to the officials, a child was hit by a vehicle at around 12:41 p.m. Police confirmed that the child was pronounced dead at the scene. The name and identity of the victim have not been made public yet.
No other injuries were reported. The suspect’s identity is also withheld.
