On Wednesday afternoon, a man lost his life following a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 640.
As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place at about 4:30 p.m. near Millertown Pike. The preliminary investigation showed that a man driving a Nissan Xterra SUV was heading east when he rear-ended a box truck. The driver of SUV was the sole occupant of his vehicle.
He suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The incident did not lead to any other serious injuries. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.
