On Wednesday morning, three people suffered injuries after a car vs. truck accident on 2300 Highway 154.
According to Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the two-vehicle crash took place at about 8:25 a.m. at the 2300 block of Highway 154. As per the initial information, a car and a commercial truck crashed into each other for unknown reasons. The impact pushed the car under the truck.
On arrival, emergency crews removed one person from a vehicle and rushed the victim to a hospital with serious injuries. Two other people were treated at the scene for minimal injuries. Officials shut down both directions of Highway 154.
An investigation is ongoing.
