On Wednesday afternoon, a car hit and injured a male bicyclist on Amargosa Road near Ozel Jewelers.
As per the initial information, the crash occurred at around 1:15 p.m. on Amargosa Road in front of Ozel Jewelers. The Victorville City Firefighters responded to crash scene and found an injured male bicyclist. A helicopter was requested, which later arrived and airlifted the victim to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment.
As per the reports, the male bicyclist remained conscious after the collision and managed to stand up before being taken to the hospital. Investigation of the crash revealed that the Honda car had a damaged front windshield.
The driver of Honda remained present at the crash scene and cooperated with the authorities. The crash caused temporary diversion of traffic in both directions of Amargosa Road. No further details are immediately available regarding the crash.
