A car struck and seriously injured a 29-year-old man on Lewis Road and Temple Avenue (Camarillo, CA)

On early Saturday morning, a man received serious injuries after being struck by a car on Lewis Road and Temple Avenue.

As per the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the pedestrian crash took place at around 4:28 a.m. The crews with the Camarillo Police Department, Ventura County Fire, and AMR all immediately responded to the crash scene on Lewis Road and Temple Avenue.

Upon arrival, they discovered that a silver Kia sedan was heading north on Lewis Road when it hit a 29-year-old man, just north of the intersection. On arrival, first responders rushed the male pedestrian to an area hospital with serious injuries. The Kia driver remained at the crash scene. The identity of the injured pedestrian remains undisclosed.

The crash remains under review.
