A car struck and critically injured a pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash (Tacoma, WA)

Tacoma police are looking for a driver after a 45-year-old man suffered critically injuries in a hit-and-run accident on Tuesday evening.

The incident took place at the intersection of South 34th Street and Fawcett Avenue. Police told that the man was crossing the street when a car struck him. On arrival, first responders rushed him to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Investigators said the car fled from the scene.

The crash is under review.
