A car slammed into a house in Oakland (Oakland, CA)

On Wednesday morning, a car ran into a home in Oakland, as per firefighters.

According to the initial information, police actively responded to the scene on the 700 block of Fallon Street at about 6:30 a.m. The crash pinned one person inside the car, but they were later extricated, according to officials.

It is unknown if that person received injuries or required hospitalization. It is also unclear if anyone was inside the home at the time of the accident. The events that have led up to the collision remain unknown at this time. No other details are immediately available.

Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
