On early Monday morning, a female driver was found unconscious in her car after a crash on the city’s North Side, San Antonio police said.
As per the initial information, the incident took place at about 1:20 a.m. on Highway 281, near Isom Road, on the city’s North Side. The preliminary reports showed that the woman could not maintain control of her vehicle and crashed.
When officers and first responders arrived at the scene, they found the woman unresponsive in the car with a serious head injury. The woman was rushed to University Hospital in critical condition. It is unclear if the accident involved any other vehicles.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
