A deadly hit-and-run crash killed a bicyclist in the area of Foothill Boulevard and Huntington Drive at about 1:21 a.m. on Saturday morning.
Authorities arrested 21-year-old Adrian Ortega after the incident on Foothill Boulevard. Furthermore, responders declared the victim deceased on the spot. Additionally, officials reported that an eastbound vehicle hit the deceased.
Moments after the crash, authorities stopped a vehicle on Francisquito Avenue and Sunset Avenue. They found confirmation of the vehicle related to the accident in Irwindale. Later, authorities arrested Adrian Ortega of La Puente on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter, felony drunk driving, and felony hit-and-run. Afterwards, officials blocked the Foothill Boulevard and Huntington Drive between Irwindale Avenue and Encanto Parkway.
