On Wednesday, authorities confirmed that a 65-year-old Pasadena man died from his injuries after he was hit and severely injured by a car last week.
The man was initially listed in critical condition at a hospital following the auto-pedestrian crash, which happened at around 7:15 p.m. on Oct. 6 along Corson Street, between Hudson and Lake Avenues. After being on life support for three days, he was declared dead at around 5:45 p.m. Saturday.
The investigation reports showed that the man was walking north across Corson Street when one car veered to avoid hitting him, but the driver of a Ford Mustang failed to avoid a collision. The driver stayed at the scene, and no crime was initially suspected. The identity of the deceased has not been revealed yet.
An investigation continues.
