On Sunday morning, a 61-year-old Seattle man suffered injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Hoodsport.
As per the initial information, the car accident took place on U.S. Highway 101 at around 11:30 a.m. The early reports indicated that the car was southbound on U.S. Highway 101 when it reached milepost 332, drove over the center line and crashed into a northbound semi hauling a trailer in the northbound lane.
On arrival, emergency personnel took the Seattle man by ambulance to St. Peters Hospital in Olympia with unknown injuries. The driver of the semi, a 42-year-old Raymond man, remained uninjured. The highway was shut down for three and a half hours as crews worked at the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
