A 55-Year-Old Woman Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Dallas (Dallas, TX)

The Dallas Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in downtown Dallas late Thursday.

On 100 North Lamar Street, the Greyhound bus was traveling north when it started to turn left onto Elm Street at around 11:53 p.m. According to police, the 55-year-old woman was on the crosswalk crossing Elm Street when the bus hit her, sending her under the “front and rear tandem tires.”

According to police, the bus driver stopped the vehicle right away and dialed 911. 

The woman was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The name and identity of the victim have not been made public yet.

It is unsure what caused the crash and whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found. The fatal crash is being investigated by the police. Further details regarding the crash are not available currently.
