The Killeen Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Thursday morning. The accident happened at the North Twin Creek Drive and East Rancier Avenue intersection.
When the police arrived, they discovered a 46-year-old man lying on the road next to the motorcycle.
The man attempted to make a right turn going east on Rancier Avenue while he was allegedly driving north on Twin Creek Drive, according to the police. He crashed into a concrete median at that point, losing control of the motorcycle and coming to rest off of it.
He was transported to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and died later there. His identity is not yet known at this time.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
