According to the California Highway Patrol, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Westminster on Friday.
The crash happened at Goldenwest and 21st streets occurred at around 6:30 p.m.
According to the investigators, an unknown vehicle and an unknown kid were involved in the collision.
The child, identified only as a 3-year-old, suffered significant injuries and was rushed to the Children’s Hospital of Orange Count. They were later pronounced dead.
The Westminster Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased child.
The driver of the unknown vehicle was identified as 26-year-old Bautista Decastilla.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided.
