Authorities actively responded to the news of a motorcycle accident on Sunnyview Court in the City of Oakley on Sunday afternoon.
On arrival, officials found a 26-year-old motorcyclist who was down on the ground with traumatic injuries and who had also suffered a positive loss of consciousness. Authorities requested a medical helicopter to the scene and the victim was airlifted to John Muir Walnut Creek. As of now, officials did not provide any further details regarding the incident.
An investigation is continuing.
