On Tuesday, a 23-year-old man from Los Angeles lost his life following a single-vehicle accident in Costa Mesa.
As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place at about 11:45 p.m. on 405 Freeway. The preliminary investigation showed that the man was traveling north in a 1992 Volvo when his car veered to the right, went off the road and crashed into a temporary concrete barrier.
On arrival, emergency crews rushed the victim to Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana. The man was declared dead at around 12:31 a.m. No other details are immediately available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
