37-Year-Old Chirag Lilabhai Patel Killed In A Motorcycle Accident In Tucson (Tucson, AZ)

A tragic motorcycle accident unfolded Tuesday morning in Tucson, as 37-year-old motorcyclist Chirag Lilabhai Patel lost his life in a collision. According to Tucson police, Patel was riding his blue Yamaha motorcycle east on Aviation Parkway at around 8:00 a.m. 

He was struck while making a left turn onto the eastbound East 22nd Street ramp. The fatal crash occurred when a 2010 Toyota Corolla, traveling west, ran a red light, striking Patel.

Despite efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The driver of the Toyota, a 27-year-old woman whose identity remains undisclosed, remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. She sustained minor injuries and was hospitalized. The investigation is ongoing, with no charges or citations issued thus far.
