According to the Marshall Police Department, a fatal crash was reported. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motorcycle accident. Authorities stated that the collision occurred in the 2300 block of North Franklin Street.
A 16-year-old motorcyclist hit a tree. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. Other insights into the collision including the identity of the victim remain unknown.
The cause of the accident is yet to be determined. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. The crash continues to be investigated by the MPD.
