According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle crash was reported on Monday in South Lake Tahoe.
Officials confirmed that 2 people died due to the fatal accident.
Authorities stated that the crash occurred on SR-4.
The motorcyclist was riding his Harley Davidson eastbound and failed to negotiate a sharp curve in the roadway.
The motorcycle traversed to the north side and the rider was fully ejected.
He ended up on the dirt shoulder.
The rider along with him has not yet been identified.
Both of them were declared dead at the scene of the accident.
The crash remains under the purview of the CHP.
