On Thursday night, a 21-year-old man lost his life following a two-vehicle collision in Knoxville.
As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place at about 10 p.m. on Chapman Highway. The early reports showed that a 21-year-old man was heading north on the highway when another vehicle going in the opposite direction turned left, in front of the motorcyclist.
The man then attempted to stop, but the motorcycle rolled. On arrival, emergency crews rushed the rider to the University of Tennessee Medical Center where life-saving efforts proved unsuccessful and he succumbed to his injuries. No other details are immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
