On Friday afternoon, one person died following a single-vehicle accident in east Las Vegas.
As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place at about 4:12 p.m. in the area of Vegas Valley Drive and Cabana Drive (east of Nellis Boulevard). On arrival, emergency crews rushed the motorcyclist to an area hospital, where they were later declared dead.
Traffic was blocked in both directions on Vegas Valley Drive from Nellis Blvd. to Cabana Drive as crews worked at the scene. The delays were expected to remain in place until the scene was cleared. No other details are available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
