Authorities identified Jason Michael Moore as the man who lost his life after a single-vehicle accident on State Highway 99.
As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place at about 10:41 p.m. in the 8700 block of SH 99 near Tuckerton Road in Cypress. The preliminary reports showed that Jason Michael Moore was riding a red 2012 Harley Davidson Dyna Switchback northbound when he failed to drive in a single lane before his bike veered to the left and hit the cable barrier.
The reports further stated that the cable separated Moore from the motorcycle and he was discovered with no signs of life by first responders. According to the witnesses, the motorcycle was going between 90 to 100 miles per hour prior to the collision. Alcohol did not seem to have played a part in this crash. No other information is available.
An investigation is ongoing.
