The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a Wednesday motor vehicle accident in Callahan County. The accident occurred at FM 603 and CR 258 at around 12:16 p.m.
According to the officials, three vehicles were involved in a collision. A 2014 Ford pickup truck was headed west when it failed to yield the right of way. This caused it to crash into a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado towing a 2017 Load Trail dump semi-trailer.
The driver of the Ford was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The officials have since identified the victim as 93-year-old Lina Saucedo De Loving.
The cause of the fatal crash is still bieng investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
