90-Year-Old Killed In A Fatal Pedestrian Crash In Long Beach (Long Beach, CA)

According to the Long Beach Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Saturday. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the pedestrian accident. Authorities stated that the collision occurred in the 6400 block of Spring Street and Verde Avenue.

A 2007 Lincoln Continental was going through a parking lot and struck four parked vehicles.

Two of these cars thereby hit a 68-year-old man and a 10-year-old boy. The Lincoln Continental hit a tree and finally halted.

The 90-year-old driver of the vehicle was rushed to a hospital but was later pronounced dead.

The 2 injured persons were hospitalized sustaining injuries. Other details including the identity of the victims remain unknown.

The cause of the wreck is yet to be determined. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. The crash continues to be investigated by the LBPD.
