According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Wednesday in Sonoma County. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred south of East Washington Street. The driver of a Honda CRV rear-ended a Land Rover Range Rover. The driver of the Honda was identified as 90-year-old Barbara Solve.
Solve was rushed to the hospital sustaining injuries but was later pronounced dead. Excessive speed was named as the cause of the wreck. Other details pertaining to the accident are yet to be released. The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
