On Monday afternoon, nine people suffered injuries following a multi-vehicle accident on US 95.
As per the initial information, the 11-vehicle pile-up took place on the US 95 at Mile Marker 50, near Searchlight. According to the reports, the accident could be due to brown out conditions in the area.
On arrival, medical personnel took nine people to the hospital with non-fatal injuries. The identities of the injured victims have not been revealed at this time. The road was completely reopened before 5 p.m. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
