89-Year Old Woman Killed In A Motor Vehicle Collision In Torrance (Torrance, CA)

According to the Torrance Police Department, an 89-year-old woman was killed in a motor vehicle collision in Torrance on Friday. The accident occurred at approximately 3:50 p.m. at the intersection of Anza Avenue and Torrance Boulevard. 

According to the officials, two vehicles were involved in a collision. A 24-year-old man driving a 2020 Dodge Charger rammed into a 2003 Toyota Echo driven by an 86-year-old woman. The driver of the Toyota Echo was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
