The Riverside Police Department reported a multi-vehicle crash that occurred in Riverside claimed the life of an 88-year-old man on Wednesday.
At around 6:25 p.m., a sedan travelling on La Cadena rammed into a transit van on West La Cadena Drive, South of Toulouse Avenue. A person, later identified as 88-year-old David Schuster, was travelling in the sedan as a passenger. The officers who arrived at the scene found Schuster already.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
