The Washington State Police reported a rollover crash on Saturday. 

The accident occurred on Interstate 5, near Lynnwood. 

According to the officials, a man was driving on the northbound lanes of the interstate when he suddenly veered to the left and hit a guardrail. His car rolled and stopped in the median while on its top. 

The driver of the car, identified as 87-year-old Gerald Brooks, incurred fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The fatal accident is still being investigated. 

It is not yet known if alcohol or weather conditions played a role in the accident. All Categories
