The Concord Police Department reported the death of an 86-year-old man as a result of a motor vehicle collision in Concord. The accident occurred at around 6:50 p.m..
According to the officials, multiple vehicles were involved in a collision. A vehicle driving on Oak Grove Road near Treat Boulevard struck two vehicles in the southbound lanes. The 86-year-old man, who was the occupant of the vehicle, was killed as a result.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
