According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident occurred in Chula Vista on Monday. The crash happened on Telegraph Canyon Road.
According to the investigators, a Ford F-150 and a Honda Odyssey were involved in the collision. The Ford driver was traveling eastbound and collided with the Honda Odyssey making a left turn.
An 86-year-old Erlinda Young was identified as the Honda driver who suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the reports, it is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
