According to the Jacksonville Police, a fatal accident was reported on Monday in Jacksonville.
Officials confirmed that an 84 year old man died due to the accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on the 2300 block of East Rusk Street.
A 2013 Dodge pickup truck was traveling eastbound towing a trailer with a pickup loaded on the trailer. The trailer began to sway and eventually became uncontrollable, thereby colliding with a 2014 Nissan Altima.
The driver of the Nissan was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
The identities of those involved have not yet been revealed, as it is being withheld pending notification of family members.
The crash remains under investigation by the Jacksonville Police.
