The Conroe Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday morning. The accident occurred in the parking garage of the Methodist Hospital at 17201 North Freeway S at around 9:30 a.m.
According to the officials, three vehicles were involved in the collision. A red Tesla was headed west in the parking lot at a high speed when it hit a concrete wall. The Tesla then hit a silver Hyundai Genesis and a white Ford Fusion. Neither vehicle had people in it.
The driver and passenger present in the Tesla had to be extricated from the vehicle. Both of them were fatally injured and were pronounced dead at the hospital.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role.
