84-Year-Old Billie Brazell Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Clovis (Clovis, NM)

The Clovis Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident on Monday afternoon. The accident occurred at 21st Street and Mitchell Street at around 2:19 p.m. 

According to the officials, two vehicles were involved in the collision. A Toyota Corolla was headed west on 21st and attempted to turn south onto Mitchell. A Dodge Charger was headed east on 21st and crashed into the Corolla.

The driver of the Corolla was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The officials have since identified the victim as 84-year-old Billie Brazell. The driver of the Charger was racing a truck before the crash. 

The fatal crash is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
