Authorities identified 82-year-old Errol Hunt, of San Diego, as the man who lost his life following a multi-vehicle accident on Friday in San Carlos.
The fatal three-vehicle wreck took place in the 7500 block of Mission Gorge Road near Mission Trails Regional Park just after 4 p.m. According to the investigation reports, Errol Hunt was attempting to make a left turn into a driveway from the westbound side of the street when his Toyota SUV slammed into two eastbound vehicles.
On arrival, emergency personnel rushed Hunt to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where he was later declared dead. The incident did not cause any other serious injuries. No further details were provided.
The crash remains under review.
