According to the Houston Police Department, a multi-vehicle accident in Houston on Wednesday.
The crash happened in the 9900 Block of the South Houston Tollway feeder road at around 3:43 p.m.
According to the Police, three vehicles and five people were involved in the collision.
8-year-old Kadryth Howard suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the authorities, four other people suffered significant injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The Texas Department of Public Safety did not reveal the identity of the injured and deceased victim.
