8-Year-Old Injured In A Pedestrian Accident In Harris County (Harris County, TX)

According to the officials, a pedestrian accident was reported in Harris County. 

The officials stated that an 8-year-old child was walking to school in north Harris County when a vehicle struck him. 

Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman reported that the crash happened on North Vista Drive near Imperial Valley Drive. 

The Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene after which the child was taken to a hospital. 

The identity of the victim was not provided by the officials. 

The officials stated that the child did not suffer any major injury from the crash. 

The crash is being investigated to determine whether drugs, alcohol or reckless driving was the factor involved in the crash.
