8-Year-Old Hospitalized After A Motor Vehicle Accident In Moses Lake (Moses Lake, WA)

According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, a motor vehicle accident occurred on Castlewood Drive on Thursday. 

The officials stated that an eight-year-old girl was riding an electric scooter on Castlewood Drive near Larchmont Drive in the Pelican Point area of Moses Lake. 

The girl was struck by a Honda Civic driven by a 19-year-old woman stated Kyle Foreman.

According to the investigation, the driver of the Honda Civic was blinded by the sunset and did not see the child on the electric scooter and collided with the vehicle. 

The victim was airlifted to Seattle Hospital to be treated for injuries. 

The Police have not cited as there was no indication of reckless driving or exceeding the speeding limit in the collision. 

No additional information regarding the condition of the victim was released by the officials.
