According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Riverside at around 7:30 a.m. The crash happened on Arlington and Stover Avenues on Tuesday.
According to the investigators, a gray Nissan sedan and a white Honda sedan were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the collision are not yet known at this time.
An unknown pedestrian suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Riverside County Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person. They have confirmed that the deceased was an 8-year-old boy.
According to the reports, it is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
