79-Year-Old Judy Coluccio Killed In A Pedestrian Accident In Grant County (Grant County, WA)

A tragic collision in Grant County claimed the life of a 79-year-old Auburn woman on Friday night. The pedestrian accident occurred around 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of State Routes 26 and 243.

Judy Coluccio, the driver of a car, crossed the centerline and collided with an eastbound semi-truck driven by 40-year-old Jose Avitta-Sillas of Pasco. Unfortunately, Coluccio was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene, while Avitta-Sillas remained unharmed.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation. The fatal crash led to traffic disruptions for several hours as crews cleared the wreckage and investigators worked on the scene.
