78-Year-Old Ralph Paccione Killed In A Fatal Crash In Torrance (Torrance, CA)

According to the Torrance Police Department, a fatal crash was reported in Torrance.

Authorities confirmed that a 78-year-old man died due to the pedestrian accident.

Officials confirmed that the collision occurred in the 2700 block of Artesia Boulevard.

A white 2005 Ford truck traveling at a high speed, rear ended a black 2000 Toyota truck.

As a result of this wreck, the driver of the white truck lost control and struck a pedestrian.

The injured pedestrian was identified as Ralph Paccione.

Paccione died at the scene of the accident.

The Ford truck then crashed into a residence and then came to a stop.

The driver of the Ford truck fled from the scene. 

The driver of the Toyota truck was hospitalized with minor injuries due to the hit and run crash.

The crash remains under investigation by the TPD.
