78-year-old Donna Ethridge died after a rollover crash on I-440 in Nashville (Nashville, TN)

Authorities identified 78-year-old Donna Ethridge, of Old Hickory, as the woman who lost her life after a rollover crash Friday morning on Interstate 440.

As per the initial information, the fatal car accident took place just past the Nolensville Pike exit ramp. The preliminary reports showed that Donna Ethridge was heading along I-440 when, for undetermined reasons, she swerved into the grass and slammed into a tree.

Her car rolled over following the crash. On arrival, first responders rushed Ethridge to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she was declared dead. She was reportedly buckled up at the time of the collision. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
