According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident occurred in Napa Valley on Friday, resulting in the death of a man. The officials have since identified the victim as 77-year-old Vail Miler.
At around 11:10 p.m., a Mercedes-Benz GLC300 SUV traveling south on Silverado Trail swerved off the road and rammed into a tree. Vail Miller was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
