77-Year-Old Lawton Man Died After A Two-Car Crash In Fabius Township (St. Joseph County, MI)

The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-car crash that claimed a life on Monday night. 

According to the officials, the 77-year-old Lawton man driving on Young’s Prairie road ran a stop sign at M-60 in Fabius Township at around 10:13 p.m. The 77-year-old struck a truck driven by a 43-year-old Constantine man. 

The Lawton man was taken to the hospital by an ambulance in critical condition. He later died at the hospital. 

The 43-year-old remained unharmed in the crash.

Additional details relating to the crash are currently unavailable. The crash remains under investigation.
