Officials identified 77-year-old David Gerald Wagner, of Floresville, as the man who lost his life following a head-on collision Tuesday night in East Bexar County.
As per the initial information, the fatal car accident took place at 9:45 p.m. on Loop 1604 and FM 1346, near St. Hedwig. The preliminary reports showed that a red truck and a black sedan were involved in the head-on crash. The driver of the car was declared dead at the scene by the officials.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him as David Gerald Wagner. The driver of the truck was rushed to Brooke Army Medical Center with serious bodily injuries. The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time. No further details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
