The Denison Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday morning. The accident occurred on Spur 503, in the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 75, shortly after 10 a.m.
According to the officials, two vehicles were involved in the collision. One vehicle was headed down the highway when it left the road. The vehicle then crashed into another car.
The driver of the first vehicle was rushed to a hospital where she succumbed to her injries and was pronounced dead. The officials have identified her as 75-year-old SueAnn Rodgers.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
