75-Year-Old Me Thi Le Killed In A Hit-And-Run Crash In Harris County (Harris County, TX)

A tragic hit-and-run incident claimed the life of a 75-year-old woman identified as Me Thi Le in Harris County on Wednesday evening. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the auto-pedestrian accident, which occurred in the 6400 block of Howell Sugarland Road.

Le was crossing the northbound lanes from east to west when she was struck by one vehicle and then run over by a second vehicle. Shockingly, both drivers fled the scene without providing any assistance to the victim.

Authorities are seeking information about the vehicles involved. One vehicle is described as a white Ford with unknown plates, while the second vehicle is a new black model Cadillac Escalade. The driver of the Escalade drove over Le after the initial impact. Unfortunately, Le was pronounced dead at the scene of the tragic hit-and-run.
