The Los Angeles Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident on Friday in Lake Balboa. The accident occurred on Woodley Avenue, north of Burbank Boulevard at around 9:35 p.m.
According to the officials, a white 2014 Honda Accord was headed north on Woodley when it veered into oncoming traffic. This caused it to crash head-on with a fray 2020 Honda Civic.
The occupants of the Accord were taken to a hospital with moderate injuries. The two front passengers of the Civic incurred minor injuries. The two back passengers were fatally injured and pronounced dead. They have since been identified as 5-year-old Yeshua Cordova Tobar and 74-year-old Aura Calderon De Tobar
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated.
